Laser Hair Removal

The laser device is then used to deliver intense pulses of light onto the targeted area. The pigment in the hair absorbs the light, which converts it into heat energy. This heat damages the hair follicles, inhibiting future hair growth.

Laser hair removal usually requires multiple sessions to achieve optimal results as hair grows in different cycles. The treatment is most effective on dark, coarse hair and tends to be less effective on lighter hair colors or fine, vellus hair.
